Are you still wondering what Time Vault Trust is all about? When we broke it down for ourselves we came to three basic elements.
1) It’s your personal Web site (you).
2) It’s something you will use during your lifetime (change).
3) It will become your legacy (permanence).

How you use Time Vault Trust is really up to you. Whatever you choose or don’t choose to leave behind as your legacy will be according to your instructions. Or, if you only want to create your legacy and aren’t interested in maintaining a personal Web site, we will assist you.
We see our mission as simply offering a unique opportunity. Our hope is that you will let your Web site become whatever you want it to be.

Archive
Your personal Web site will continually change with time. Just as your 15 year old self has different interests, perspectives, and appearance than your 30, or 70 year old self, your Web site over time will also reflect these differences. The archive feature allows you to freeze a copy of your Web site at any point in time.
You could, for example, archive your Web site every year on your birthday, or whenever you feel inclined to save a period of your life. Whenever you archive your Web site you’ll have the option of continuing forward with your current Web site, or starting again from scratch.

Time Capsule
The time capsule is simply your personal message to the future. The content of your time capsule can be text, photos, videos, or basically anything you can put on a Web page. The recipient of the time capsule can be yourself, friends, family, or even the world at large.
When you setup your time capsule you specify on what date the recipient will be contacted to view it, and how the recipient should be contacted. If the recipient is a member of Time Vault, then the notification is automatic. If the recipient is not a member, then contact information is required.

Slide Show
You can choose to put a slide show on any page of your Web site. A slide show is simply any set of photos that you organize to be viewed in the sequence that you indicate. First, you upload the photos you want to include. Second, you indicate the order in which they should appear. And third, you select the Web page where you want the slide show to be activated.
